Awesome place, people are so friendly. Rooms are what you expect for the price and I was very comfortable and happy. Drew and Julie would go out of their way to make me and my parents feel welcome and comfortable. Will hopefully def return one day. Thanks for an amazing stay everyone. Xx

Malcom & Margaret - aka Mallie &Mags - provide 1st class service in this very friendly local pub. What was an Indian restaurant next door, is now under ownership of Mallie & Mags and serves a variety of dishes which are served piping hot and are good portions. Give it a try - in my opinion - friendliest pub- best pint - in town!
Went into hotel bar and was served by friendly staff, the bar was very quite but I was made welcome and they served a good pint, I am sure I will visit again.
In the perfect location for shops, takeaways/restaurants and buses, the room was massive, clean and perfect, the beds were extremely comfortable and the staff were lovely Absolutely recommend and would love to return

Whilst exploring the secret coast, the Mrs and the kids' bellies started to speak to me, so we headed inland to Dalbeattie were we discovered the Maxwell Arms. The meals were first class and the portion size was plentiful. The decor was on the wain but the hospitality more than made up for it.
